Standard Merv 8 Rated Filters

EQP 40 filters are MERV 8 rated according to ASHRAE 52.2 standards and 40% to 45% efficient according to ASHRAE 52.1 standards. EQP 40 filters are made with electrostatically charged synthetic media that is bonded to a rust inhibitor coated expanded metal. The entire inner surface of the 24 point beverage board frame is coated with adhesive to encapsulate the pleated media pack, prevent air bypass, and provide rigidity.

UPGRADE-Merv 11 Filters

MQP filters are MERV 11 rated according to ASHRAE 52.2 standards. MQP filters are made with electrostatically charged synthetic media that is bonded to a rust inhibitor coated expanded metal. The entire inner surface of the 24 point beverage board frame is coated with adhesive to encapsulate the pleated media pack, prevent air bypass, and provide rigidity.

Odor Ban filters are specifically designed for the removal of fumes, odors, pollutants and dust particles. Remove odors from cooking, new paint, new carpet, bathroom smells, cigarette and cigar smoke, pet odors, etc. For a complete listing of odors, gases and fumes removed by activated carbon please see chart below.

Simply install the filter as you would any standard air filter. The filter media is an activated carbon impregnated, non-woven polyester that is pleated and enclosed in a 24-point heavy duty, high wet strength beverage board frame. The pleated design increases the surface area of carbon exposed to the air flow which traps noxious gases and odors. Each filter contains approximately 10.44 grams of carbon per square foot, i.e. a 24x24x2 filter would contain approximately 125 grams of carbon.
